In general, the undergraduate program in electrical engineering offered by our department has met the twelve competence attributes stated by the Washington Accord. Also, it adopts the international competences of NSPE and IEEE, with the following interests:

  1. Emphasizing the education of basic sciences so that our curriculum complies with international accreditations such as ABET or Washington Accord,

  2. Establishing five different profiles to facilitate advanced studies in specific domains of electrical engineering
    1. Electrical Power Engineering,
    2. Control and Instrumentation Engineering,
    3. Telecommunication Engineering,
    4. Computer Engineering,
    5. Signal Processing, Electronics, and Biomedical Engineering.
