Competencies

Information Engineering program leads to competencies that meet the attributes of the Washington Accord and also refer to the ACM / IEEE Computing curriculum with the following interests:

Computer Engineering System

This concentration is a specialization for students to gain expertise on the various substances of computer-related studies as embedded devices and computer network. At this concentration, students will study the hardware and software aspects of computer and internet-based communication technology which is the main supporting tool in Information Engineering in the modern era. This concentration will lead students into the international competition for the needs of the workforce in the areas of computer networks, computer network security, and internet-based embedded devices.

Information System Engineering

Information System Engineering concentration brings students to deepen and gain expertise on the design, implementation, and implementation aspects of information systems in various areas of life. At this concentration, students will be encouraged to learn the important things that become the backbone of modern information systems such as database technology, big data technology, cloud technology, as well as contemporary information systems technology such as ERP, CRM, and others. This concentration will lead students to international competencies for the needs of the workforce in the field of information systems, professional and managerial IT in the organization, as well as information workers.

Software Engineering

Software Engineering competency becomes the backbone of the creative economy based on technology. At this concentration, students will be encouraged to learn the key issues that are key to innovation in information engineering including an understanding of software engineering, software development, technology platform, and human-computer interaction in the modern era. This concentration will lead students to international competencies for the needs of the workforce in the field of software such as programmer, enterprise architect, systems analyst, web designer, user experience consultant, game designer, and also technology-based startup manager.
