- Housing note: If you hold a non-EEA nationality, University of Twente will provide one guaranteed housing offer at Boulevard 1945 in the city centre of Enschede (see ugm.id/UThousing). If you decline this offer, you will need to arrange accommodation independently.

Helpful Note
From recent student experiences applying for a Schengen visa in Groningen, applicants are sometimes asked to show proof of financial readiness early in the visa process.
Be prepared to provide either:
- the full estimated budget, or
- proof of funds for at least the first month’s living cost, along with a sponsor/guarantor statement covering the remaining months.
